Orcas Island is considered to be one of the most magnificent
destinations in the Pacific Northwest. Also known as the "Gem of the San
Juans," Orcas Island is accessible from the mainland by Washington State
Ferry, by airline from Sea-Tac airport at Seattle, or by private boat or

260 days of sunshine and receives only about 22 inches of rain per year,
